We’re having a donor event starting on Friday to thank everyone who has donated $50 or more over the last 2.5 years to support the development of Ship of Heroes. We call this event the CCT Beta, and it will allow donors to create and save a character, and reserve a character name, using the real Ship of Heroes character creation tool. Participants will also be able to jump into Apotheosis City with their new character and explore.

Our CCT Beta is coming up on November first. We’ve previously published videos on several things players will get to explore during the CCT Beta – the Beta Club, the randomizers, and the hospital – as well as a press release. This time we want to show you how much you can do without using the randomizers.

The next big thing we’re working towards is the upcoming character creator Beta for Ship of Heroes. As part of the CCT Beta, you’ll be able to run around in Apotheosis City and see how things look for yourself. One of the places you’ll be able to visit is the hospital, a critical place for both players and NPCs alike. The hospital will be a permanent addition to the map of Apotheosis City, and will be open to all players.
Creating a Character with Randomizers
One of the big things that you’ll see in the character creator Beta for Ship of Heroes is that we are currently giving players a lot more power to customize their avatar than any other MMO character creator currently does. This can work for you or against you depending on how much artistic talent you have. So what if your aspirations for making a unique character are high, but you aren’t a professional character artist? Well, we give you an escape hatch: randomizers.

The upcoming CCT Beta is our main focus right now, but we also have people building other parts of the game in the background. Today we want to show you the latest work from our prop artists, with a special shout out to Steven Zhu. These assets will be used in the Military Weapons power set.
