((ooc: sorry I've been away, I guess we'll assume I'm getting kids home- I had to put my cat down this week and other than work, it's been a drunk kind of week. Cat was 10, born on the bed next to me. Never sick a day in his life. Local shelter having adoption drive, roommate got one, my boy was dead in 10 days. Her new cat is also very very sick, over a week ICU. Shelter still pushing adoption drive, reduced prices, and refuses to acknowledge -flat out denies- there is a fatal disease centered there. I've been organizing with other adopters who've had cats get sick and/or die, to do a legal push to get the shelter on forced shut down unti they get a clean bill of health... which they should do on their own without us needing to get involved. So yeah, I've been depressed and focusing my depression on destroying them.
So, Indigo is busy getting the kids home safe for a bit))
( ooc Hate to hear your having RL problems ... but please post more of RPG stuff )

As I head back to the " Starboard Lounge " entrance I touch my CEI ( Communication Ear Implant ) " operator please send another clean up bot crew to this location , but just a small crew not much left of the attacker."
Looking down at the severed hand holding half of the weapon I notice that the field charging coil was not "Nagdellian " its "Yekus" ? so how did this Nag. get a Mercenary field charging coil ?
Entering the lounge I request X-307 to unlock the Analyzer ... Placing the charging coil onto the platform tray X-307 tells me " Sir this has traces of decomposed flesh from humans on the coil wraping " " Thank You X-307 add these remains to the ones out side that clean-up bot's are going to dispose of"
Again touching my CEI as I engage SuperSpeed I request a connection with " The Chihuahua Kid" from the operator... " Hey kid meet me in the morgue chambers on the 1st lvl ... got something for you to sniff out "

Really enjoyed this story . Now can we add a vampire clan? Since the sun is artificial they can be out at all times and then we can have the epic vampire lycan Underworld clash.
🙂
yes yes someone bring in vampires!

Indigo finished cleaning the sticky mess of Ishmaels hands and got him all dried off and ready to head home. She was happy she was able to reach a few of the students, and was lost in thought, pondering the fate of her kind, when the noise behind her made her whip around. Seeing a man bear down upon a Nadellian that was sneaking up behind her, she quickly cast out one of the darkness pods that were meant to be used in class later that week. She swore between her clenched teeth; those encapsulated powers were not easy to come by!
She heard the man try to order the pups not to kill the prey.. she knew she should back up his command. Any lycan in battle mode would only back down when offered surrender or ordered by the alpha. She could stop this.. but the sides of her vision began to darken, her world becoming a pinpoint of awareness, the enemy becoming her entire reality. It. Must. Die.
Indigo stood still, fighting her inner wolf for control. The man was right, don't kill it, don't kill it, kill it, kill it, kill...
Then it was over. One of the pups walked up with a severed hand in her mouth and proudly handed it to Indigo, the way most human children would give their teacher an apple.

Bursting through the north hatch and sailing over the top of the now crouching Nagdelling. Crossing the apex of my velocity jump above the Nag. while drawing my sword and with one swing I cut in half the charging weapon. Fliping to face the stunned Nag. while sliding to a stop aside Indigowulf ,sword in defense mode. I noticed that Indigowulf has all ready begun projecting a dark de-buffing defense cloud around the stunned Nag., and with the pups starting to surround the engulfed Nag. and ready to pounce.
I yell to the Pups " don't kill It " ... but to late... I see 6 Lycan pups disappear into the cloud ...I hear screeching screams and only what I can tell was limbs being torn off without hesitation. As the cloud starts to dissipate I catch a glimpses of Nag. body parts being shaken in victory by each Lycan pup held in there mouth .
WOW they make quick work ... but now i can't

I'm Prompted by the laughter of pups while i'm still sitting at the bar to hit the display panel on the bar and request a history vid about the Lycan population growth on board " Justice".
as the Vid reviles the history ... I pause and wonder if my ancestor Eulb knew that a baby Lycan was smuggled on board while still in womb of Sierra Toln?
Ancestor Eulb couldn't have been against Lycan's ... Records show that in his investment deposit requirements for the building of this ship were ... that ALL were welcome to inhabit the ship prier to launch.

As they moved slowly forward, a commotion ahead broke her happy spell. A couple with a small son were being escorted back and out. The father and boy were both held on either side by security, while the woman was loose and wailing. The scene only lasted a moment, as the offenders were quickly ushered out of sight. Whispers began down the waiting line, the word making it back to their ears was "lycan!"
Sierras father shook his head and said; "Genetic filter. Did they really think they could slip by? Dangerous beasts, those lycan! Glad they won't make it on the ship!"
Justins eyes widened and his hand loosed Sierras.
"What happens to them?" He asked Father
"They will be processed and returned to their districts. They will be detained until the ships leave so they can't try to sneak on board again."
Justin began to slowly back away, fear creasing his brow. Sierra shook her head, her eyes begging him to deny what she knew he was about to say. She wrapped her arms around him, whispering in his ear "Please don't!"
"I have to go, Sierra. You know that. I don't want to be imprisoned while I watch your ship leave. You realize the full moon is coming? I'd be in a tiny cell as my heart breaks, and the moon shines... I couldn't even run! It would kill me!"
Sierra dropped her whisper to the smallest of breaths "What about the baby? We need you!"
"All the best minds are already on that ship, Sierra. There will be no good doctors left behind. I AM thinking about the baby. You need to get on that ship. Once you're on, they can't send you back. They can't turn a whole ship around just to bring a tiny baby back to earth. Just don't say anything, please, I need to know you are safe up there!"
And then he was gone.
Mother and Father held Sierra as she sobbingly explained why Justin would not be coming with her. Their eyes met over her bowed head, and the look they exchanged said everything. Mother wiped away the tears and shushed her while holding her close. Father stood tall, using his bulk the best he could to hide his families private affairs from prying eyes. Futile, as they stood in the middle of the crowd, but his glower turned away all but the most brash lookeyloos.
"Get yourself together", mother whispered, "and don't mention this to anyone! Nobody must know that you were in a relationship with a lycan!" she shuddered a moment before beginning again, "If I had known... but nevermind now. You know how superstitious people can be. Never tell! We know it's genetic, but some people still think it's contagious!"
Sierra did her best, pulling herself together and standing tall. She didn't even cry out as the needle extracted a genetic sample, and the light hesitated before turning green. She would abide by her mothers words. She would never tell about her lycan lover. She would never tell she carried his baby. She would never tell that she secretly hoped the lycan inside her would spawn a whole generation of lycans who would rise up and extract revenge one day for humanities cruelty!

Indigo listened to the story again, in the small hidden classroom. Youngsters who showed signs of what Earth had called a curse were secretly brought here and educated in their history, their abilities, and how to keep them hidden. It made her sad that revenge part was always the end of the story. Why couldn't her family let go of that bitterness after almost 10 generations? As her students circled around her, ready for the days lesson in speaking with animals, she made her decision.
"Children, do you understand what revenge means?"
There was a chorus of "yes, teacher" and "no, teacher" from the students.
"Revenge is when you do something that makes someone who hurt you in the past wish they had not done so." She explained, "can you think of some examples of revenge?"
Many hands raised, and many examples of pettiness and anger were expressed.
"All are examples of revenge, it's true. But did you know revenge doesn't have to be mean? Revenge can be anything that makes them wish they had not hurt you. Do you want to know how I get *my* revenge every day?"
The children crowded close, eager to hear the story.
"I help people." Collective groans of disappointment from the class. "No, really. If I hurt them in my revenge, would it make them sorry they wanted to leave us behind?" A few heads shook no, and it seemed like the lesson was beginning to take hold. "If I hurt them, they would just say, 'too bad we didn't get them all!' and they would still hate us and feel what they did was right! If I help them, they say 'too bad we didn't allow them all on board! We were wrong!' and that is the sweetest revenge!"
Indigo smiled as some of the children began to discuss ways they could help others, while mentally noting the ones who scowled and held hatred in their hearts. Those ones were heading for the dark side for sure, one day she may even need to fight them. That thought made her as sad as bearing her ancient grandfathers last name made her happy.
