This is just my opinion but when SoH comes closer to release I would show polished videos only. Just to give everyone the feeling that the game is finished and ready to go. Especially the people who are new to SoH.
If you want to catch as many fishes as possible you need the best equipment.
I also think that polished videos create hype at potential players.
Dev videos convey the feeling that potential players have to wait a long time until they can get thier hands on the product.
I really liked the Infusions in Melee Combat dev video. I would like to see both videos like that and more polished videos. The dev videos would allow some feedback from the community before releasing more polished videos.
A couple suggestions on the Infusions in Melee Combat video:
1) Make the combat attacks more opaic, so the swings and punches don't look so cartoony.
2) Loosen up the spandex in the crotch area so he doesn't look like he has a wedgy.
