Doom. It does not measure up to the current genre of FPS games. Fortunately, it was remade...

Mechwarrior. I loved the original game, But it looks like a kids game now. The next one, Mech 5 Mercs, will be such a light year improvement it isn't even funny...

I am an old school retro guy. I have been playing video games since the 80s. I noticed that certain games such as Megaman X, Sonic, among others have not aged gracefully in the new 3D era. Do you have a favorite game that was great back in the day, but was a disappointment as a modern day release?
