I turned my spotlights at the base of my house green, put up a saint patrick's mailbox cover, flew a saint patrick's garden flag, then that evening I had a couple lime margaritas (they were not quite green enough for my taste so I cheated with a drop of green food coloring).

I was hoping that the forums would change green for the day, but alas no such luck.

recent news I finished two raised gardens for my wife, (I still need to fence them in to keep the deer out, and possibly Yogi (he/she woke up and has been knocking over trash cans)) blocked off a couple sections near the woods that get plenty of sun and spread two bales of straw in them then planted potatoes in the straw. lets see what happens this year. cleared out some underbrush and have it all stacked in my firepit. when the weather turns a bit nicer I'll burn it all along with a bunch of pine logs I have split. wife wants to invite some friends over for it. so we'll do a whole bbq thing for it.

Oh I got myself a Sous Vide machine and a vacuum sealer for christmas. let me tell you. if you don't have a sous vide, get one. I can't believe how well it works.
