It's still quite rough around the edges, but what brand new superhero mmorpg isn't? So far it's a blast! I'm still learning the ropes myself, but once I'm more comfortable with everything, I'd love to team up some time.

Hey everyone, I’m KaObserver. I can’t believe I somehow missed Ship of Heroes until now—better late than never, right?

I was a City of Heroes/Villains beta player back in the day, and I’ve been waiting years for a game that captures that same magic. From what I’ve seen so far, Ship of Heroes looks like exactly the kind of world I’ve been craving to dive into again: heroic, community-driven, and built with love for the genre.

I’m excited to meet all of you, learn the ropes, and hopefully contribute to this amazing community. If anyone has tips for getting started, or favorite things you recommend checking out first, I’d love to hear them.

Looking forward to soaring alongside you all!

True that on "Better Late than Never". Congratulations on coming aboard, and looking forward to seeing/helping your character(s) in game 👍👍🤠

The constant bait and switch from Steam is driving me nuts, but it must be making the developers livid. I've been waiting for this to come out for over a decade, so I'll just have to suffer through a couple more weeks... 😭

Welcome aboard Michael! I look forward to playing with you. Wait, that doesn't sound right. I look forward to playing games with you. Ugh... that doesn't sound right, either. You know what I mean. Welcome aboard the ship! It's gonna be awesome!

I look forward to wearing spandex and grinding with you! Is that any better? 😅

I felt it was long past time I stop "lurking" and finally get around to being sociable and introduce myself here.

I mentioned this on Steam (a platform I no longer make purchases on but am making an exception for the first time since 2022 for THIS VERY GAME 😁 ), but I've been following this project with passion and enthusiasm ever since it was announced just after the City of Heroes sunset.

My partner and I both played CoH right from the beginning, and we were absolutely SOUL CRUSHED when it was shut down so unexpectedly. Like...serious depression here. Then of course came the revival projects, with each one showing amazing promise but no sign of actually crossing the finish line.

Then we discovered Homecoming, which made us incredibly happy, and we've been playing there for the last few years.

Even during that time on Homecoming however, I still obsessively checked on the progress of the revival projects - particularly this one, because it has two things I absolutely love - superheroes and space ships. I'm a total Star Trek nerd, and I also loved Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast. (In fact I still play PSO and PSO2 classic now and then, too.)

We're so happy to finally see this project come to fruition! Congratulations!

I wish you had other purchase options besides Steam, but I understand the unfortunate necessities behind it. Regardless of my personal (and active) avoidance of Steam, this will absolutely be a DAY 1 purchase for me.

Once again, congratulations on making it across the finish line, and I look forward to meeting you all!

I, like many of us had many alts and played several servers.

My main City of Heroes...have to look up my Villains were NovaForce a scrapper and Offset a Defender.

I did not start our Supergroup, but became one of its leaders, later in the game along with a few of us. The group was The Protectors on the Protectors server and by the end of the game we had figured out we were the oldest active Group on the server. I really hope to run into some of the old group here!
