It’s sad to see Ship of Heroes shutting down. I don’t think the community really gave it a chance. Too many people judged it against CoH Homecoming instead of giving it room to grow. They were working with a shoestring budget and hoping subscription revenue would allow them to keep improving it. It had rough edges, sure, but expecting a small team’s new game to match an established game with years of development behind it was never a fair comparison.

I've crafted using the Gadgetry trainer located in the Warehouse district outside of Sword Blossoms office. There are also some craft loot boxes located nearby. It works really well. I'm looking forward to having the Gadgetry crafting table available as housing items.

So, for crafting we have Medical and Gadgetry. That takes care of crafting for two of the five signature Heroes. I'd like to see crafting of special magical items crafting next, which would leave Security and Commerce crafting as the last two. Security crafting may lean towards defensive items such as force fields, while the Commerce crafting could increase loot drops. Or better yet, it would be great to craft items for storage and trading. Maybe craft items you can place in your housing lto store overflow items and items inked to the auction house.

The trainer and crafting station are in front of Sword Blossom's office in Engineering. I know of one other player who has been enjoying using them against the big snow monster boss.

Integral, That post on crafting, is not totally true! We can not Create/Craft Grenades in SOH, because there are NO TRAINERS for GADGETRY that are needed to make Grenades, and other things for our characters to use! The only TRAINERS I have seen in over 500 hours playing, are HEALERS!
When are your Devs going to add that Training Skill set to the Craft Trainers, who are all Idle beside the Craft Machine?

Suggestion - Create Crafting Halls/Buildings that have all the Trainers we need to make all items from Recipes that we want make. 👍👍 & 5k💖 🤠

Amazing! I will post some screenshots on the steam page of my grooves when I get the chance about a week from now!

I think I took like 20 screenshots LMAO. Some were even with Fire Man ingame!

Good news! You can now show your new dance moves in the Beta Club or in the street. There are 6 new emotes /dance, /dance2, /dance3, /dance4, /dance5, and /dance6 in addition to /crowdcheer (ymca) and /twist.
And /bow is always a possibility at the end of a performance.
Someone else had asked for this before launch, but there were higher priorities then. Enjoy!

Heya!

I was curious, is there any plan for further development of character emotes? I think a dancing emote, for example, would be great for creating a more immersive experience!! I would love to have emotes for taking screenshots! "Bopping" in the night club with the NPCs is a small item on my wishlist

I attended KCGameOn this last weekend, and it was fun. However, it was smaller than I expected and it was all PvP games. They had Arc Raiders, Smash Brothers, Rocket League, Mario Kart, WarMachine, and other games people liked to play. I did talk to a couple of potential SoH recruits, so we'll see if they come aboard the ship. I'll keep my eye out for other events where players may be interested in SoH once they hear about it.

Thanks, Golden Ace! I'm not expecting anyone to take a long road trip for this event. If anyone is close to the event and is interested, I thought we could meet up there. I live in the KC area, so that's why I'm going. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself. I'll post how the event was.

I had looked up gaming clubs/events a while ago and came across the KCGameOn events. I encourage others to look for similar clubs/events in your area if you want to recruit others to the game. Like I mentioned before, I believe focusing on role players rather than MMO players is key. The MMO players should come once they see groups of players playing.
